Spiritualizing Self-Care:
Holding Our Humanity In The Power Of Infinity

Acharya Paula Vandana Whang-Ramos

"Within every part of our body, within every relationship, within every circumstance,

the soul’s intelligence knows how to bring forth healing. It already knows. It’s inherent to life."
—Yogacharya Ellen Grace O'Brian

When life is coming at us fast, we may mistakenly believe that our spiritual life is separate from our daily life. We may meditate, pray, and read sacred scripture, and then we rush into the fullness of our daily roles and responsibilities, forgetting the soul peace and clarity we previously experienced. This forgetfulness increases our own strife as we unconsciously deprive our daily life of the conscious spiritual power, presence, and wisdom that helps us to thrive, heal, and courageously address life circumstances that challenge us now.

For example, in this tradition of Kriya Yoga, the way we care for these ever-changing mind/bodies, in sickness and in health, is not separate from our spiritual practice. Our conscious mind/body care is a vital part of our daily spiritual practice. As we learn to open into our innate soul wisdom to inspire our mind/body care, then divine possibilities for comfort, wellness, and healing can be revealed. How can Kriya Yoga help us access our inner soul wisdom and clarity to care for and thrive in these mind/bodies in the highest way?

Join us at CSE and BLC this month as we meditate and contemplate the conscious care of the mind/body as spiritual practice. Gift yourself time to receive and remember the presence of divine wholeness emanating through your mind/body right now. New and experienced students of Kriya Yoga are welcome.

“Peace in our homes, community, and world begins with a vision of it, faith in it, and the commitment to realize it by working for it. Bring forth the light of peace by first experiencing it directly

in meditation and then transmit divine peace to others.”
