“If anything disturbs your peace, practice having faith that divine grace is already actively at work restoring wholeness and well-being.

Then make any necessary adjustments in harmony with that insight.”

Live In Divine Love
Paula Whang-Ramos

"Ask a new question at the end of the day: How did I contribute to love today? Not what did I accomplish, or
what mistakes did I make, or what should I have done or shouldn’t I have done, but how did I love today
?
~Yogacharya Ellen Grace O'Brian, CSE Daily Inspiration 10/21/2025

In divine grace and our shared commitment, my husband and I will celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary this month. The privilege to grow up and grow old with a best friend is truly a blessing. And yet, we can still get carried away with our daily agendas and overlook the value of this partnership that we have been gifted.

Thankfully, over the years, we have established many small but powerful rituals that we regularly practice to meet each other in Love. For example, we consciously greet each other in love each morning, when we part company, and when we retire each night. We listen, witness, and share in each other's lives. And we regularly give thanks to the One for our union.

So this week, I have 2 invitations for your consideration. First, let's take many moments throughout our day to really look and listen into how we interact with others. And, wherever we can, let's turn up the love light within our own hearts and freely share our gratitude for the opportunities to learn to live in love with one another. And second, for a deeper exploration of how we can use spiritual practice to navigate through moments when love is hard to find, join me this morning online or onsite at CSE when I offer the inspirational message "Divine Love During Doubtful Moments"

Choose Wholeness
Paula Whang-Ramos

"In this righteous way no endeavor is wasted and no obstacle prevails; even a little of this practice protects one from great dangers."
Bhagavad Gita 2:40

One of the many positive aspects of living this yogic life is the power of our choice, again and again, to live from our essential wholeness. This is good news! It means that every time we react to a challenging circumstance in fear, we also have the opportunity to choose again and consciously respond from our innate wholeness instead. And every time we return our awareness to our innate wholeness, we are deepening that inner pathway into the divine remembrance of our spiritual power.

It is like walking through tall grass. Each time we walk the same specific route, the grass yields into a natural pathway that can eventually become very easy to see and follow. As our inner yogic path becomes clearer, we experience the innate wisdom and clarity to competently navigate through change with greater integrity and peace. And with every step into wholeness, there is a blessing that strengthens our divine lives in the Source of Wholeness that we yearn for and deserve in our lives right now.

Open To Divine Presence
Paula Whang-Ramos

"Be mindful of the divine inspiration awaiting your cooperation. Stay open and willing."
~Yogacharya Ellen Grace O'Brian, CSE Daily Inspiration 10/07/2025

In Chapter 2 of the Bhagavad Gita, a foundational spiritual text for yoga and meditation, we meet divine Krishna. Krishna symbolizes the innate divine wisdom, presence, and wholeness that indwells us all. However, to experience our divine Self, we must be receptive to a more spiritually conscious way of being, listening, and living. In Chapter 1, we met Arjuna, who represents us, the sincere spiritual seeker. Arjuna is so emotionally overwhelmed by his life that he spends much of the chapter defending his fear and stifling his ability to directly experience this divine power within himself. Being closed and unwilling, Arjuna becomes an unwitting victim of his self-created mental suffering.

Thankfully, in Chapter 2, enter Krishna, the divinely blessed breath of fresh air, to the stressed-out, distracted Arjuna mind. Krishna/divine wisdom offers encouragement mixed with a bit of tough love to help Arjuna/us remember that we are so much more than our life circumstances and our reactions to them. Our innate divine wisdom is always present, waiting for us to hear its reminders that we are part of a much larger, more powerful, eternally peaceful, and always wise Source of life.

The Gita offers us a path of spiritual maturity to live in harmony with the innate wisdom within us all. Let's lay down our Arjuna stories of limitation and learn to thrive in our innate Krishna wisdom. Join us at CSE and BLC for meditation and Bhagavad Gita Study. Learn to cooperate with the Source of good that waits to be lived through you now. Newcomers to yoga, meditation, and the Gita are all welcome.

Living In The Highest Way
Paula Whang-Ramos

"Our likes and dislikes color our perceptions, and if we are not aware of them,
they obscure our ability to be open to possibility. Stay open to yet unknown good
."
~Yogacharya Ellen Grace O'Brian, CSE Daily Inspiration 09/30/2025

As we complete our study of Chapter One of the Bhagavad Gita, the main character, Arjuna, is completely overcome with frustration, fear, and stress at his current life circumstances. His emotional reactions totally cloud his ability to realize the inner divine power, presence, and wisdom available within himself, as symbolized by Krishna, the other main character. In the Gita, Arjuna represents us, sincere seekers trying to live in the highest way as we navigate the circumstances of daily life.

In this tradition of Kriya Yoga, we learn to live from the wholeness of our spiritual integrity (i.e., Krishna consciousness) by first learning to quiet the distracted, reactive mind. We use specific time-tested practices to expand our awareness and redirect our attention into the indwelling divine power, presence, and wisdom that is always available within us. And we learn how to live from this higher consciousness, deeper clarity, and unapologetic inner peace. How do we open into and live from this innate higher good within us all? Join us for meditation and weekly Gita study this Tuesday. Meet Krishna, our innate divine wisdom, and experience this expanded awareness for yourself.
